“Win Week One” | Focuses on navigating the first week of college—making a strong first impression, building support systems, and avoiding common mistakes.

Who is this program for?

  • High School or Freshman College Students

  • Students struggling with ADHD/Executive Dysfunction

  • Students who had accommodations in high school and will need support going into college

  • Students who did well in high school because of the structure, but without structure will likely struggle in academic and independent pursuits

Meet The Instructor:

Kevin is a college transition specialist with expertise in academic planning, executive functioning, and student support. His practical, student-centered approach helps teens gain confidence and structure before setting foot on campus.

What will the Students Learn?

  1. Academic Readiness

    • Syllabus breakdowns, semester planning, study strategies, and understanding key academic resources like office hours and TAs

  2. Time Management

    • Time-blocking, digital calendar use, prioritization, and habit-building with tools like to-do lists and accountability plans.

  3. Self-Advocacy & Campus Navigation

    • How to access advising, disability accommodations, and mental health services; tips on making friends and using social supports.

  4. Financial Literacy:

    • Budgeting basics, navigating student loans and aid, and understanding on-campus job options.

  5. Tech & Life Tools

    • Dorm essentials, digital tools (e.g., Canvas, Google Calendar), and techniques for minimizing distractions.
